Suzuyuki-Kai Odori Recital (Phoenix)

Every five years, the dancing part of SKMD will host a formal staged recital to showcase its students in Phoenix and Tucson. This year, it will be at the Herberger Theatre Center in Phoenix October 19, 2025 and begins at 1:30pm.

Tickets are $42.50

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon as we celebrate 50 years of grace, tradition, and artistry. Suzuyuki-Kai presents “Yume” a commemorative performance honoring five decades of dedication to the exquisite art of traditional classical Japanese dance (Nihon Buyo). Experience timeless pieces from our repetoire, each playing tribute to refined beauty of kimono, the nuanced movement of a fan, and the deep emotional currents of Japan’s cultural heritage.

Show is 3 hours in length, including two intermissions.

Tickets can be purchased at: https://herbergertheater.org/events/suzuyuki-kai-yume-making-dreams-a-reality/
